ALMOST THERE - DEMOCRACY HAS DIED IN THE UK

The County & Euro elections are now over. UKIP did very well for a 'new' party in National Issues. UKIP won 8 County seats and 13 in the Euro's.
My own campaign went well and I came 2nd to the Conservative candidate. If there was no Green candidate I would have won! Last elections UKIP received 200 votes, this time almost 800. Conservative last time 2,800, this time 1,100. There was no Green last time, they received 365 votes.

As a sucker for punishment, I have agreed to stand for UKIP again in the enxt couple of weeks in a by-election in Hove for the Brighton & Hove City Council.

I am of course contesting the Hove seat for Westminster, when Brown decides to call it.

SADLY Democracy has died under the control of Gordon Brown, he is so weakened that he has had to co-opt unelected people to join him in his cabinet. Sir Alan Suger is made a Peer (Lord) so he can be in the cabinet, Mandleson, we already know about has also taken on the mantle of Deputy Prime Minister, which will be interesting if anything happens to Brown, because of course Mandleson cannot sit in the Commons! Glennis Kinnock gets a Peerage to be in the cabinet.
Is there NO ONE that has been elected to the ranks of Labour MP able to become cabinet members?
Brown oif course denied the British people the opportunity to vote on the Lisbon Treaty, saying that we cannot be trusted to make that decision! Despite a referendum being in the Labour manifesto.

GIVE UKIP A CHANCE.... WE NEED A CHANGE.... UKIP WILL ONLY WORK FOR THE GOOD OF THIS COUNTRY AND GIVE THE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VOTE ON IMPORTANT ISSUES WITH REGULAR REFERENDUM.
