We had GREAT pleasuire in meeting up with our very good friend from KABC Al Rantel.
Al is making an amazing recovery after his Cancer Treatment as the photos show.
Al has a totally new outlook on life after realising he may not be here right now if it wasn't for the treatment he received to clear the cancer from his body, so to celebrate he bought himself a real 'Boys Toy', a beautiful 'Corvette'in silver.

The Americans love their troops, they show total respect for their troops and pay homage when ever possible.
Can you imagine these things happening in the UK?
We went to our very first Baseball game and could not understand a single thing about it! and the Yanks claim that cricket is slow and rubbish!
At the game, look carefully at the 'crowd' photo. Top left hand side of the stadium in the upper area, you will see this is totally filled with 'in uniform military personnel'. Durihg the game, the entire stadium stood to honour these brave men and in turn they saluted the crowd.

We have had the great pleasure of meeting some really beautiful people over the past week and Thursday night was no exception when we went to CROCE'S Restaurant.
The restaurant is a tribute and dedication to the fantastic late musical genius JIM CROCE.
The restaurant is run by Jim's Widow, Stunning INGRID CROCE.

I am in San Diego, walking past the 'KANSAS CITY BBQ' where they filmed the bar scenes in TOP GUN.. and it has just literally burst into flames...
everything in the place is destroyed,with flames shooting 250 feet in the air at one time.
Very impressed with the speed that the Fire engines arrived... approx 10 of them!
The fire started in the kitchen, thank goodness everyone got out safe and sound.The San Diego FIRE DEPT ESTIMATE BUILDING DAMAGE AT "50k, CONTENTS 150K... THE FILM MEMORABILIA IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ESTIMATE... possibly into millions.

Mike is currently enjoying the delights of SAN DIEGO. Wow what a place arriving in over 100 degrees of heat.
Zoom Airlines have started a brand new service twice a week to San Diego, this is the first ever direct flight from Gatwick to SD. More information on the BUDGET AIRLINE, with all the frills later.

Irish singer/songwriter BEN GLOVER popped into the studio to see Mike on Monday morning.

Mike went along to the Brighton Centre on Monday night to see the finalists of BRITAINS GOT TALENT tour.
I can see why George won the final... The reaction to George was just fantastic, as soon as he walked on stage the noise was almost ear shattering.
If anyone else had won, I dont think there would have been the same reaction or the numbers in the theatre.
Every one of the finalists was a winner, they were absolutely amazing, they made us laugh and cry and just have a fantastic evenings entertainment. Well done to all involved, and oh yes... George DID do the singing in the rain set. Here are just some of the pics I took there plus a couple of young ladies who were screamingly in love with George!!
