TOXIC DISTORTION FLY IN

We love it when one of our unsigned bands become very popular. Just before Christmas we played a track from TOXIC DISTORTION and we had a massive response from listeners, so we put them on again the weekafter and it happened again and for a third week.. So that meant we had to invite them into the studio.
This is a group of school mates average age is now 15. They took Monday off school to join Mike early Monday morning having literally flown all the way from Aberdeen with their parents in tow.
Their sound is amazing and very mature plus they write their own music!
Joe,Craig, Pete & Jonny squeeezed into the studio with their 'hair'......

Last Monday morning Mike & Joe were joined by Anna to judge and listen to our Great Unsigned Seg on the show.
We still need more entries, the best will be invited into the studio to perform live just as Aberdeens very own 'TOXIC DISTORTION' did.

Mike met up with his friend ALAN DALE this week at Sarastro Restaurant in Drury Lane, you may catch them together on a regular basis at Sarastro.

Alan is about to Star as King Arthur in SPAMALOT, he will be on stage for all but 10 mins of the show!
Alan needs to grow abeard for the part and needed Mikes advice!

The BBC did a special on Alan immediately after Torchwood, which he also starred in. The cast said what an amazing experience to work with 'Jim from Neighbours!!'.. Alan hated being reminded of his Neighbours part, he has done so much more since then, 24, X Files, The OC, Ugly Betty etc etc.................

Alan will be on Mikes show quite a few times in the coming months as he is in SPAMALOT for at least 4 months.

DIAMOND GIRLZ POPPED IN

The Diamond Girlz popped in during the unsigned part of the show on Monday morning with Mike & Joe. Joe fell in love immediately!! and they can sing too.. The girls sang one of their new songs love in air.

Highly talented Debbie Curtis dropped in for a chat and to give Mike a copy of her yet to be released new CD for the DEBBIE CURTIS RADIO BIG BAND. he CD will be available at the begining of March, details from www.debbiecurtis.co.uk.
The Debbie Curtis Radio Big Band consists of this country's top musicians.
Debbie's Big Band has played at the Savoy, The London Palladium & the Cafe Royal.
