MANIC MONDAY

Monday morning the studio was a madhouse.. but a fun madhouse as we were invaded first by Mike's great mates THE JIVE ACES.. and then Debbie Curtis from the Debbie Curtis Big Band. They had finished a gig at Her Majesty's theatre Haymarket (London) coming off stage at midnight! and then landing on Talksport Towers. Its not an unusual time for the Jives to arrive, last time they walked in approx 4 am...
The Jive's played live in the studio, an amazing reaction from listeners. After an hour, we were all exhausted and they all had to get back to their respective homes.
Hopefully they will all be back in again soon.
check out www.debbiecurtis.co.uk & www.thejiveaces.com
they all have music available

VIEWS FROM MIKES WEEKEND : INCL SHOREHAM AIR SHOW

Loads of pics from the weekend including Brian Capron (ex-corrie bad guy) who tells Mike of his next telly role..
The greatest laurel & Hardy lookalikes. They are so good, that they are sent over to the USA every now and then to promote Laurel & Hardy movies. The lovely Carol Barnes & Nick Owen were on hand as well. Jan Leeming had a chat with Squadron Leader Guy Meadows at lunch. Don Bean MBE (with Laurel) is the man who first thought of this magnificent show and continues the magnificent success story after giving a donation in excess of £1 million to the Royal Airforce Assn.
Sadly Shoreham Airshow had its very first accident on Saturday (after 18 years) when a Hurricane crashed killing the pilot. Pic shows 2 Spitfires heading over the crowds with the magnificent Lancing College in the background.
