Mike Harrison Visits

Mike Harrison was the lead singer in sixties band Spooky Tooth. After a long absence from the music scene Mike is back, bigger and better than ever before with a new CD entitled 'Mike Harrison Late Starter'. Mike popped in for a chat about his career, his retirement and his return to the stage and touring.

Debbie King on the Show

Confirmed as a sidekick at the begining of April is the one and only Debbie King. She will be Mike's sidekick prior to her return to ITV1.

Alfie Boe Visits

I was thrilled to meet up again with Classic Artist Alfie Boe. WHAT an amazing voice and one of the nicest guys to interview. I am so pleased that he is enjoying the sucess he so deserves. Alfie has just released his second CD Album entitled 'ONWARD'. I played three tracks from the Cd and highly recommend to you that you get yourself a copy. Alfie is currently a special guest on the Fron Male Voice Choir's UK tour. If you see him advertised, go see, you will be amazed at his talents.

Debt Wizard

As part of the slight changes taking part in the show, Mike welcomed a new 'regular' guest in the form of Debt Wizard Mike Thomas. Mike was supposed to stay on for one hour and ended up taking calls for two hours!

Fevzi on the Show

Friday night was great and very different as Mike was jealous on Ian Collins and wanted his very own 'sidekick'. Fevzi the Gadget Detective voluntered to be the first 'sidekick' and did an amazing job. The first hour was the gadget dectective slot, hour two and three was the KABC Link with Al Rantel in LA. Fevzi almost took over the show and was soon getting the callers going as he was at loggerheads with both Mike & Al! Hopefully Fevzi will be a 'sidekick' again.

Other 'sidekicks' have been lined up over the next couple of months.

There will also be a number of changes to the show in the near future.

Guest Phil Grabsky

What a great guest Phil Grabsky turned out to be. We want him back on again. Phil is an award winning documentary film maker, with a film career spanning 20 years. Phil's films include In Search of Mozart, Half Life, A Journey to Chernobyl and I Caeser to name a few.

David Marks Visits

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming David Marks into the studio. David was one of the original founding members of the Beach Boys. He played a fundamental role in establishing one of the biggest bands in the world.

David Marks has written a book entitled The Lost Beach Boy, this is David's story, from his childhood spent living on the same street as the Wilsons, to his premature departure from the band and their eventual reunion. This is a compelling and above all honest account of life with and without the Beach Boys.

Mini Mike

Wow... What a busy wekend its been with mixed emotions and some great guests. Sadly we said goodbye to Mini Mike. Mike has left The Mike Mendoza Show to pursue his own radio career in Slough as the late morning/early afternnon DJ on Time FM in Slough. We wish Mini Mike the VERY best of luck and look forward to hearing great things about him in the future. Mini hasn't vanished altogether as he will continue to maintain this website... but his general presence will be missed greatly. The two Mikes will remain good friends.

Mike Harrison Drops In

Rocker Mike Harrison, former frontman of Spooky Tooth, popped in for a chat on Monday morning. Mike has a new solo CD out and it sounds just great. Mike has been described as Britains long-lost star of Blues Rock. Look out for Mike Harrison as he begins a national tour with his new band.

Sexual Problems

Faith from Passion in Wales was on chatting about ways in which people could overcome sexual problems with the aid of various products. Faith also gave away one of her now famous goody bags, full of Passion, Faith is back on in 2 weeks time.

The Debbie King Show

Ever popular Debbie King dropped in for a chat with Mike to tell us all about her new telly show on ITV Play "The Debbie King Show". Debbie is very excited about the show as it is totally diferent from anything else she has done on ITV. This is a gossip and showbiz based show that goes out live Monday to Friday from 10pm to 12am. The show is set in a laid back lounge environment where Debbie will be joined by a selection of show biz guests to chat about the days news and celebrity gossip (you may even catch Mike Mendoza on there one day!)
