Great guest on Monday morning was Robert Sellers, author of 'CULT TV. THE GOLDEN AGE OF ITC'. For the first time in one book, the incredible stories behind the making of some of the most popular shows ever made as told by the actors, directors and creators involved in the making of them and involved in bringing them to the small screen.

Nelson Bragg on Music

An honour and privilidge on Sunday morning as Mike was joined by the drummer from Brian Wilsons Band (Beach Boys) Nelson Bragg. Nelson is back in the UK with Brian Wilson in September when they perform at several almost sold out concerts at the royal albert hall. Nelson has his first solo CD out this week "Day Into Night". A great CD with some amazing tracks well worth getting.

Mike Mendoza Swap Site

Following on from the success of One Red Paperclip and The Lincoln GrALE Mike has launched his own 'swap site'. Up for offer is a CD player as used by the man himself to play tunes in his music radio days. All you have to do is check out the Mike Mendoza Swap Site and offer something in exchange for Mike's CD player.

The aim is to exchange items until a beach buggy off road racing car is obtained so that Big Mike & Mini can do the Paris Dakar Rally next year.

Hayley Westenra's New CD

New Zealand clasical singing sensation Hayley Westenra popped in to see Mike. Hayley, 19, has been chatting with Mike since she was 15! Hayley is the World's number one best selling classical female artist with a new CD out next week. Treasure is jammed packed with classic and self penned songs by Hayley. This is a young lady with her feet firmly on the ground having appeared in front of HRH Her Majesty The Queen, Tony Blair, President Bush and many other world leaders. Hayley has appeared at (and filled) The Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.

Misha Pops In

20 year old bubbly wide eyed singer songwriter Misha Williams popped in for a chat. This is Texan Misha's second visit to see Mike. It's only a matter of time before Misha really hits the BIG time. She is an amazing talent and is about to release a brand new CD (self penned) plus a single CD. Currently on a 'schools' tour around the UK, if you get a chance to see Misha, DO NOT miss her and grab her CD and single. They are amazing!

A Hole in the Desk

This weekend there was a worrying situation as someone had nicked the 'panel' from the presenters desk leaving a 'hole'. The two Mike's, Mini & BIG, decided to look into the hole to discover what it was all about!

This book is jam packed full of delectable receipes and is beautifully illustrated.

Fight World Magazine

Dan Cox the editor in Chief of Fight World Magazine was in the studio to talk live to listeners about the wonderful world of Ultimate Fighting. It's currently featuring on Bravo and several other SKY channels. This is fighting in the extreme with at least 3 disciplines being used. At times a very blood thirsty and violent sport that at the present time is very controversal - having been banned by several local authorities in the UK. Mike loves this sport and intends telling listeners as much as he can about it and is inviting some of the leading fighters into the studio in the future.

X-Hooker Annie Lobert

An emotional interview with Annie the ex hooker in Las Vegas. Annie told Mike her amazing story of how she got into prostitution, made thousands of dollars and then hit rock bottom. When she was close to death she asked God to forgive her and then her life took a whole new direction where she 'found God' found 'Jesus' and started an organiusation called 'Hookers for Jesus'. She spreads the 'good' word and tries to get girls off the streets to save their lives. Michael Van Straten (health journalist of the year) has been at it again and produced a real winner with his latest book The Omega 3 Cookbook. The first cookbook that will help you eat enough of this wonderfood without resorting to cod liver oil and tinned salmon.

It includes receipes for vegetarians. Michael also gives advice on food choices as well as a consumer guide to the supplements and smart food available.

Sam Millar Visits

Country music singer songwriter Sam Millar popped into the studio for a chat about his carreer so far and to play some of his great CD. Sam has appeared at the Grand Ol Opre and recorded his CD in Nashville to the delight of the Americans. Almost every musician who worked with Sam in the USA were members of Elvis Presley's band, quite an honour for the young Irishman. A great talent and well worth listening to.

Mike has been given a prop from Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix by Warner Bros Films - the World Cup programme from the movie. It was given to Mike to raise money for his Whoopsadaisy charity, offers over £500 will be considered. There is a certificate of authenticity.
